Written Repair Estimates 

Residential Repair Estimates

  • Only available for Grizz Inspection clients that have a signed contract, completed inspection, & fully paid fee

  • Estimates will only cover defects found during our inspection process

  • Inspection must have been completed within 7 days of the request for estimate 

  • Estimate must be needed for the purpose of a real estate transaction

  • Only 1 estimate will be provided per client/inspection date

  • Estimates will only be provided when the total estimate is under $10,000.00 & only up to 3 repairs

  • Estimates will only be available after both client and their agent have attended an on-site walk through at the end of the inspection or have both reviewed the published report.

  • Request for estimate must be made in writing (email or text) by the real estate professional within 7 days of the inspection report being published - Written estimates will be provided within 36 hours once confirmed

  • Estimates will be produced through our reporting software for official purposes- No emails, phone numbers, clients or agents will changed and or added for the process of the estimate! It will only be provided from us directly to our paying client and their agent!

Commercial

  • Cost to Cure Reports- Will be determined by inspection proposal/agreement- Estimate limits may vary per client needs

Repair Estimate Q&A

What Does the Estimates Cover: Up to $10,000 worth of repairs discovered during our inspection process! Only 1 estimate is available per client/inspection date. Estimates are available for these inspection services: Residential- Commercial-  4 Point (Roof, Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC)- Sewer Scope- Other inspection services under EXTERMELY special circumstances

Who Prepares the Estimates: Our Oregon licensed general contractor, that attends EVERY inspection & has over 30 years of hands on experience! Experience that includes building, remodeling, and maintaining homes from the stick built 1900's homes to brand new million dollar+ homes and literally almost everything in between- Even the 1960's mobile to the 2024 manufactured home. Defects will be discussed with other professionals such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc. when needed to provide the best possible estimate to our clients.

How will the Estimate be Prepared: Estimates will only be prepared after our inspection has be completed & we feel we have the professional knowledge/understanding of the defect and what it may require to repair according to best practice & current safety standards! In order for our company to give a fair professional estimate to help our clients have a true understanding of what repairs might cost, without knowing who or what company may complete the repairs, we must personally inspect it! Estimates are only available for 7 days once the inspection report is published. Estimates must be requested by a real estate professional.
